* The kit is designed to improve awareness and understanding on the incremental cost concept, and to demonstrate its integral link with good project design. The kit has been prepared in response to requests and clarifications by those preparing projects addressing global environment issues in the GEF context. It will also provide guidance to Implementing Agency Staff, Task Managers and project proponents on how incremental cost should be operationalised in a project.
