The World Bank is looking for a Climate Change Specialist to work in the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The specialist should have knowledge in the field of climate change to support its growing program as the financial mechanism of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. (UNFCCC). The candidate should also have experience in the design, implementation and monitoring of energy and environmental projects. Candidate should have experience working in developing countries, preferably in climate change, renewable energy or renewable energy. Candidates must have a master’s degree in Environmental management, electrical engineering energy, economics geography or other field related to the energy sector and minimum of 5 years experience.
