Travel to and from South AfricaSouth Africa is served by a large number of airlines. Participants are requested to make their own travel arrangements to Cape Town and are strongly advised to ensure that their return flights have been confirmed prior to arriving in South Africa. If you are flying to the Assembly from outside South Africa, you may first stop at Johannesburg International Airport before transferring on to Cape Town. Staff will be available at both Johannesburg and Cape Town International Airports to welcome you and guide you to your departure gate or to your ground transportation. Airport TransferAn airport transfer service will run between Cape Town International Airport and the official Assembly hotels listed in this booklet. To book your transfer, please visit the Airport Transfer link on the Assembly registration website (thegef.org/assembly), or by mailing or faxing or e-mailing as a scanned attachment the airport transfer form as soon as possible to Thebe Conferences at: Email: gef@thebeconferences.co.za The Information Desk at the CTICC will assist with reconfirmation of airline reservations, travel queries, and related matters.
