December 19-20 Paris Replenishment Meeting Postponed

Dear Colleagues,

We write to inform you that the GEF 4 Replenishment Meeting scheduled for next week in Paris is postponed. As noted earlier, we believe that the Paris meeting should take place only in circumstances in which we are reasonably sure of being able to conclude the replenishment discussions successfully. We have been encouraged by our exchanges with participants over the past week, and we will remain fully engaged in the effort to achieve a successful outcome. However, we believe that continued consultations with and among participants are needed before we go forward as a group into a final meeting.

Building upon the progress made at our Tokyo meeting as well as subsequent consultations, we will be in touch with you to explore how best to make further progress. Our apologies for any inconvenience this postponement creates.
