Meet Thomas Groh

Thomas is the Special Assistant for the CEO. 

 

Thomas previously worked in the French Treasury where he focused on environmental policies and ODA issues, particularly multilateral development banks and innovative financing mechanism issues.  Thomas' previous work experience includes field work in Central Asia for a nongovernmental organization.

 

Meet Lars Christiansen

 

The new Junior Professional Officer from Denmark, Lars joined the Climate Change and Chemicals team this spring. He will be supporting GEF’s work on the new adaptation funds (SCCF and LDCF).

Lars is a recent graduate in Geography from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. Previous work experience includes Masters fieldwork in Vietnam on sustainability and cost effectiveness of small-scale land use projects.
