Meet David Reed

David is director of the Macroeconomics for Sustainable Development Program Office of WWF-International in Washington, DC. He has worked for 20 years on social and economic development programs in Latin America, Africa, and Asia at both the grassroots and managerial levels.

He is the author of Escaping Poverty's Grasp: The Environmental foundations of Poverty Reduction, Economic Change, Governance, and NaturalResource Wealth (2001) and editor of Structural Adjustment, the Environment and Sustainable Development (1996). 

He has a PhD and graduate degrees from the University of Geneva.

 

Meet Michelle Lapinski

 

Michelle is the founder of SustainBiz consultancy. She has over 10 years of experience guiding Fortune 500 companies to develop more socially and environmentally responsible business strategies and practices.

Her prior positions include Food & Agriculture Director at Business for Social Responsibility and Global Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Gap Inc., an apparel retailer.

She holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco, where she has also served as an Adjunct Professor, and a BA from Johns Hopkins University.
