Evaluation of the Experience of Executive Agencies under Expanded Opportunities

This evaluation assesses the experience of the seven Executing Agencies under Expanded Opportunities in the GEF. It will analyze how the Executing Agencies are working with the GEF and provide recommendations to enhance their involvement. It covers the following key questions:

  • How has the participation of the Executing Agencies evolved to date?
  • What are their main strengths?
  • What are the main weaknesses?
  • Based on the above, what are the main threats to their participation, and what are the main opportunities in future?

The evaluation is managed by Senior Evaluation Officer,
Siv Tokle, and conducted by a group of consultants, under the leadership of Oscar Gonzales-Hernadez. The evaluation units of the Executing Agencies provided support.
