NOTIFICATION OF GEF COUNCIL MEETING

The next regular GEF Council Meeting will take place in Washington D.C. on April 30 and May 1, 1997. This meeting will be preceded by an NGO consultation on April 29, 1997. Present plans are to convene a GEF replenishment meeting on May 2, 1997. This latter meeting will be confirmed after the informal planning session on replenishment that is being held in Paris on March 12.
